Live Fire Instruction is excited to offer you the National Rifle Association's Basics of Pistol Shooting Course with Virginia Concealed Carry Permit Certificate. In this half-day course we will cover bookwork, hans-on and live range time.
The fundamental portion of the course will teach you the following:
- Aiming
- Breath Control
- Trigger Control
- Hold Control
- Follow Through
The safety portion of the course will teach you the following:
- Gun safety in the home
- Gun safety with children
- Gun and ammunition safety
- Range safety
- Gun handling
Students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor. This certificate and course will qualify you for your VA CCW. Class is taught by an NRA Certified Instructor in a fun and relaxed environment.

If you do not have a firearm, no problem. We will bring an assortment for you to use at no additional charge.
